Well folks we left Cape Cod on Tuesday morning at 5:00 am and headed for a non stop drive to Nashville, TN where we would spend a day hanging with friends and taking care of some business meetings. We had such a great time in Nashville and it was awesome to be down that way again. We pulled into The Pancake Pantry at 6:00am and had a delicious breakfast!
On Thursday we headed into Memphis to attend the Folk Alliance Conference. We performed 15 showcases in 3 days and met so many great great people! Its amazing how many great musicians were there. We got to meet a great band called, The Little Stevies from Australia, Caracol from Canada and so many more!
Before leaving to come back to the East Coast we had time to make one quick stop before hitting the road. We toured Sun Studios and let me tell you guys it was amazing. It was like being in heaven to be in a studio where Elvis, Johnny Cash, U2 recorded…Here is a picture of us around Elvis’s microphone!
Since we’ve gotten back we are getting ready to head to Martha’s Vineyard on March 5th to be on a cooking show called Papa Tuck and then head for a show that evening in Oak Bluffs at the PA Club. Then we come back to the main island and have a show at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod as part of the New England Folk Archives on March 6th! We look forward to seeing you all!
